ARTWALK 2010

ArtWalk is a community event held every six weeks in the downtown historic district of Galveston.  Local retailers partner with artists to provide venues to display art and increase visibility to the businesses.

Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary participated in ArtWalk for the first time in March 2010. Sanctuary staff partnered with Island Divers to host marine educator and artist, Jacqui Stanley, whose art is inspired by the marine world, including the coral reef and deepwater communities of the sanctuary.
